Our season is from March through October. Floats outside these season dates are subject to weather and at the discretion of Skippa-Rock River Floats. Now open 7 days a week! Put-in times from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
All trips include equipment and instruction. Guide services are available upon request at an additional cost. We are also one of the few rental services that have a landing onsite and do not require a shuttle back to your vehicle. You will begin and end your trip at the same place, giving you the best and most convenient river floating experience available anywhere. We also offer a shuttle service to those who own their own kayaks or canoes for $15.00.
What we have to offer
To ensure that kayaks are available, and to help us provide the service you expect, we encourage and recommend reservations be made as far in advance as possible. A credit card is required when making reservations.
If plans need to be cancelled or numbers reduced, you must notify Skippa-Rock a minimum of 72 hours before the planned float. Any changes within the 72 hours will be charged in full and a “Credit Certificate” will be issued. Online booking will be available soon

4 Mile River Float
Gear up and paddle a kayak on an exciting 4 mile journey down the beautiful, crystal clear class II rapids of the lower Mt. Fork River. Alcohol is not permitted on this stretch of the river so bring it at your own risk.
4 Miles ½ day (4hrs)
Single Kayak: $30 cash / $35 card
Double Kayak: $60 cash / $65 card
9 Mile River Adventure
A trip for the more adventurous at heart. The full ride including the exciting and beautiful class II rapids of the Presbyterian Falls followed by the smooth paddle of the 5 mile float to take in the scenery. Alcohol is permitted on the second half of this float.
9 Miles full day (8hrs)
Single Kayak: $60 cash / $65 card
Double Kayak: $90 cash / $95 card

5 Mile River Float
Leave your stress behind and paddle a kayak on a smooth 5 mile float on the lower half of the river. Perfect for leisurely fishing trips or just a relaxing float to take in the beauty of nature. Alcohol is also permitted on this stretch of the river so book your booze cruise here!

4 Mile Twice
For the truly adventurous we now offer the option of doing the 4 mile, class II rapids twice! Perfect for those who love the excitement of the rapids but want an all day trip. Alcohol is not permitted on this stretch of river so bring it at your own risk. Must leave at 9am and be back by 1pm for second trip.
